|Sauder Village-Civil War Exhibit||
August-September, 2011 - Northwest Ohio is fortunate to have a rich heritage preserved through great places like Sauder Village in Archbold. On alternating episodes of Hometown Memories, we visit the recent rug hooking show, talk about gardening in the early 1900's, visit the Sauder Village Civil War exhibit and learn how the meals were prepared. Get ready to go have fun in the past with us on these editions of HTM!
|National Threshers Reunion -1||
July, 2011 - Every year since 1965, the National Thresher's Association has been gathering at the Fulton County Fairgrounds in Wauseon. On this show we'll talk to some of the people and show you many of the antique steam engines, tractors and other machinery carefully kept alive and handed down from generation to generation.
|Stryker Area Heritage Council||
June, 2011 - The Stryker Area Heritage Council uses the Historic Train Depot in Stryker as one of their restoration projects and it is a showcase of area history. Likewise, the Wauseon Train museum is located in an historic Train Depot in downtown Wauseon. We'll visit both in this episode of HTM.
May, 2011 - On our debut program, we visit the Fulton County Historical Museum and take a walk through their Civil War display with director, John Swearingen. More information on the Museum can be found at www.fultoncountyhs.org.
